Spicy Grilled Shrimp
on the Big Green Egg

Ingredients

  • 15 shrimp

  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)

  • 1 tsp Kosher salt

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

  • 2 tsp lemon juice

  • 2 tablespoon olive oil

Directions:

  1. Take the salt and garlic and mash them into a paste. Add paprika, cayenne pepper, lemon juice & olive oil to the paste mixture.

  2. Thaw & peel shrimp all the way back to the tail section, leaving it for a handle.

  3. Butterfly them by cutting halfway through the shrimp. Remove the vein.

  4. Mix shrimp in the marinade until they are well coated.

  5. Prepare the Egg at 400 degrees.

  6. Place the shrimp directly on the grill, cook for about 2 minutes on the first side. They will begin to curl up. Then flip to the other side and grill for 2 minutes.

  7. Don’t overcook the shrimp.
