Spicy Grilled Shrimp
on the Big Green Egg
Ingredients
- 15 shrimp
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp Kosher salt
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
Directions:
- Take the salt and garlic and mash them into a paste. Add paprika, cayenne pepper, lemon juice & olive oil to the paste mixture.
- Thaw & peel shrimp all the way back to the tail section, leaving it for a handle.
- Butterfly them by cutting halfway through the shrimp. Remove the vein.
- Mix shrimp in the marinade until they are well coated.
- Prepare the Egg at 400 degrees.
- Place the shrimp directly on the grill, cook for about 2 minutes on the first side. They will begin to curl up. Then flip to the other side and grill for 2 minutes.
- Don’t overcook the shrimp.
