Ole Rays Meatloaf
on the Big Green Egg
Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground chuck (80/20)
- 1/2 large yellow onion, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 cup bread crumbs, fresh or dried
- 1 egg, beaten
- Salt and pepper
- 1/4 cup Ole Ray’s Kentucky Red Bourbon or Apple/Cinnamon Barbeque Sauce, plus more for topping
Directions:
- Set Egg for indirect cooking with temp set at 230-250 degrees.
- Place all ingredients in a large bowl and mix together using your hands or a stiff spoon.
- Form into a loaf and place on a fish and veggie grid.
- Cover top of loaf with more BBQ sauce place in cooker and cook for 2-2 1/2 hours or until internal temp reaches 165 degrees.
