Grilled Cheese-Cheese Burgers
on the Big Green Egg
Ingredients
- 1 pound hamburger
- Jacks Original Seasoning (found at Outdoor Home)
- 2 tablespoons Worchester sauce
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 16 slices of white bread
- 8 slices of cheese of your choice
- Butter softened
Directions: You will need a grill top griddle.
- Get grill heated up to 350-400 degrees.
- Place griddle on half of the cooking grid and allow it to heat up.
- Mix ground beef with onion powder and Worchester sauce. Form into 4 1/4 pound patties season with Jacks on both sides.
- Take a slice of bread butter on both sides, place slice of cheese on it, butter another piece of bread and put it on top of the cheese, ( you have just assembled the Grilled cheese)
- Place the burgers on the grid and start cooking. Place the cheese sandwiches on the griddle and start cooking them. Brown them on one side them flip, and cook until cheese has melted and both sides are browned.
- Flip burgers over and finish cooking until desired doneness.
- Take grilled cheese sandwich place it on a plate put hamburger on top of it, top burger with desired condiments and place second grilled cheese sandwich on top.
- Eat and enjoy.
